You can make The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads your home base while you head out on day trips for fishing and boating on nearby Lake Gaston, setting your rod for striped bass, rock fish, large mouth bass, crappie, sunfish, and several varieties of catfish. Enjoy water sports like motor boating, tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and jet skiing, taking advantage of the public boat ramps and marinas scattered around the shoreline.

 

The Roanoke Canal Museum is located in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina You can take the family for an outing at the Roanoke Rapids Theatre, catching a live music variety show that mixes comedy and dancing with rock 'n roll, country, classic hits, pop melodies, and gospel. You'll see country music super-stars and unique performances at this 1,500 seat auditorium. At Carolina Crossroads, you can take in the July Beach Music Festival or catch one of the regular performances by legendary artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Gretchen Wilson. This event center also puts on non-musical acts like the Great American Frontier Show and Corvettes and Classics 2007 .
